Who is PMP Film Academy for?

PMP Film Academy is designed for students who need more than a traditional classroom.

It’s a great fit for students who:
• Thrive in creative, hands-on environments
• Struggle with traditional learning formats
• Benefit from smaller group instruction
• Want to build confidence, communication, and real-world skills

No prior filmmaking or acting experience is required.

Does my child need experience?

No.

All students are guided step-by-step in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
We focus on building confidence first—skills develop naturally from there.

What does a typical day look like?

Each school day includes:

• Structured instruction in core subjects (math, ELA, science, social studies)
• Dedicated time for film-based learning and performance
• Small group collaboration and guided activities

Students experience a balance of academic structure and creative application throughout the day.

What ages or grades do you serve?

PMP Film Academy serves students in 6th-12th.

Students are grouped in a way that allows for:
• Individualized instruction
• Collaborative learning
• Growth at each student’s level

How many students are in each class?

Class sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure:

• Individual attention
• Meaningful participation
• A supportive, low-pressure environment

Registration

Is this a full-time school?

Yes.

PMP Film Academy is a full-time school program for the 2026–2027 year—not an after-school class or supplemental program.

Our classes are from 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, or 9am-5pm to help offset the cost of before/after school care costs and to support working parent's schedules.

Is this in-person?

Yes. All instruction takes place in person.

This allows for:
• Hands-on learning
• Real collaboration
• A structured, engaging environment

How is student privacy handled?

Student privacy is a priority.

All footage is handled carefully and shared only with families.
No content is ever shared publicly without written parent permission.

Do you accept the Hope Scholarship?

Yes.

PMP Film Academy is designed to work with the Hope Scholarship program.
